We have our own pupil-led radio station, run by the children supported by high-quality broadcasting equipment, including a vinyl turntable. Our provision is further enhanced by a support package from Russell who visits each term. Pupils plan, produce and present their own programmes and broadcast live to the playground at break times and lunchtime, bringing energy and enjoyment to the school day. Through the radio station, children develop strong oracy & communication skills, confidence, teamwork & leadership, while also learning valuable computing & media skills such as audio production & responsible use of technology.

Handling Vinyl is a delicate operation, it requires respect and a level of reverence that’s not easily replicated elsewhere.

The substantial desk surface is hand-cut to suit your layout needs, it’s available in White and an American Light Oak finish and measures 1800mm long by 1000mm wide. We mount Two 24" Iiyama Touch-Screens on top-of-the-range M-Deskmounts that provide a huge choice of movement. Under the table you’ll find the HP Elite 400 1TB i7 G9 an over-specified computer that delivers a near-instant start-up. You’ll get Three-AKG Mics, 4-AKG Headphones, an Eight -Channel D&R Mixer with VOIP. The Samsung 400W Soundbar and Sub-Woofer, fills the room with quality production studio sound. We’ve included a Sonifex MIC LIVE sign on a pole so that everyone can see when any of your microphones are LIVE.

Based on our bigger desk (2400mm x 1200mm) to accommodate three 24" Iiyama Touch-Screens, this surface is hand-cut to your layout and again is available in White or American Light Oak. With this model we’re able to mix and match the legs for that complete Scandinavian look! This studio comes with a separate 19” rack on wheels, housing the HP Z2 i7 1TB SSD PC, Audio Compressor, Headphone Amplifier, Soundcards & A Lockable Drawer. On top you’ll get three-AKG Mics, One-Rode Handheld Mic with 20m of cable, Seven-AKG Headphones. The PLUS comes with a 12-Channel D&R Mixer with one VOIP & One Bluetooth® channel for Mobile Phone connection. A Samsung 400W Soundbar and Sub-Woofer provide exceptional studio quality sound. This Studio has Video too! We’ve mounted the latest Tiny 3 OBSBOT 4K, AI Powered camera with voice control, PTZ, up high on a pole and we’ve including a lighting package too. You’ll get a studio clock too. Based on our bigger desk measuring 2400mm x 1200mm, it’s available in combinations of White & American Oak. There’s enough room on the desktop for the three bigger 27" Iiyama Touch-Screen Monitors and the Pioneer DJ Vinyl Turntable, Numark MixTrack Platinum DJ Controller. In the 19” you’ll get the faster HP Z2 i9 1TB SSD PC to comfortably manage video broadcast and editing, also in the rack you’ll find a four-channel Compressor and eight-channel Headphone Amplifier. On the desktop you’ll get three-AKG Mics, One-Rode Handheld on a 20m cable loom that supports two-headphones for guest & presenter on-location out of the room. This is a one and a half day visit from Russell, he arrives in the afternoon to attend to any minor repairs and configuration updates. He can provide an after-school training session that afternoon for staff or pupils too. Then on the following day you’ll have Russell all day to host a full-day’s training or to nagivate your way through a live broadcast. This is the perfect package if you want to move into LIVE Mixcloud broadcasting to Parents.

As much remote support as is needed to solve a single problem or technical issue with your radio station. We use TeamViewer and WhatsApp for video calling to help see what you’re seeing. Online payment available through our e-invoicing from Xero, credit and debit cards accepted.
